Parent Humor

Our parents like to forward jokes or silly pictures to everyone they know. 99% of them are trash but my Canadian step-dad sent one that made me lol like wow. I’d like to share it with you.
Nominee for Best CANADIAN Joke of the year...

A Somali arrives in Toronto as a new immigrant to Canada .

He stops the first person he sees walking down the street and says, 'Thank you Mr. Canadian for letting me into this country, giving me housing, money for food, free medical care, and free education!'

The passerby says, 'You are mistaken, I am Jamaican.'

The man goes on and encounters another passerby.

'Thank you for having such a beautiful country here in Canada!'

The person says, 'I not Canadian, I Vietnamese.'

The new arrival walks further, and the next person he sees he stops, shakes his hand and says, 'Thank you for the wonderful Canada!'

That person puts up his hand and says, 'I am from Middle East, I am not Canadian!'

He finally sees a nice lady and asks, 'Are you a Canadian?'

She says, 'No, I am from Africa!'

Puzzled, he asks her, 'Where are all the Canadians?'

The African lady checks her watch and says, 'Probably at work.'
Jokes like this play on stereotypes but are often accurate. It’s true that in North America people are getting sick of unrestricted waves of immigrants. The sort of diversity-oriented complexes you see in support of mass immigration are in reality mechanisms for supremacy and gilt relief: the privileged modern westerner takes pity on the poor, dejected “third world” people, which makes him feel better about himself and extinguishes some of the socially damning white guilt induced by the media.

But in general, in trusted company people reject this. They don’t like to pity and they don’t believe in institutionalized guilty. But the best resistance they can muster, for fear of loosing their jobs or being ousted by the brainwashed PC communities, is a cryptic joke now and then with a quick glance over their shoulder. Meanwhile, things stay the same or get worse; immigrants with foreign loyalties and disparate values continue to enter unchecked, unaccounted for while the rest of us pay for their support systems, adapt to their cultures, languages and particularities, and our own traditional systems are run into the ground.

That’s weak. Such a people, who openly welcome their own dispossession with a sub rosa grin and a clenched fist full of money, deserve to be wiped out. If people aren’t willing to fight to maintain a place where they can be themselves, practice their own unique methods, speak their own language uninterruptedly, enrich their own cultures—then they won’t have it. Canada will no longer be the home of Canadians but Somali, Jamaicans, Vietnamese, Persians, Africans, etc.

But I guess there’s no time to worry about that: all the Canadians are at work.
